Where is Mr. Sun???

Today we had a very busy day!
Students began the day rehearsing in the Gym for the French Cafe. Please don't forget to send in the outfit for the play.
When they came back in class we only had time to do our morning routine and eat a snack. Then they had Gym class with Mr. Browning.
After that students participated in reading groups, where they had a partner and they were instructed to take turns on sounding out blends and short words.
After lunch, students completed 2 pages for Language Arts, where they practiced reading and writing the following blends and sight words: tu, va, tub, van.
In Math we played a game called "Terrific 10 Snakes", where they practiced their numeracy skills by placing value to numbers 1-15.
In our UOI we talked about reptiles and what are the characteristics of this animal category. Students look into some pictures and watched a short video. Students then created their own pattern snake...take a look in our class!
Have a great evening everyone!
