Monday, April 8th

Sorry Parents, the Internet was down yesterday...here it is what we accomplished yesterday:

Today we had a fun day!
We began the day with morning circle time and snacks!
Braydon did a great job in his Show and Tell.
In Language Arts students completed two pages. The first one was more for them to practice sound and formation of letters z, y, a, d, b. The second worksheet, students practiced reading and writing blend ke and sight word keg.
We also practiced spelling some short words like cat, dog, pig, jet, bun and pan.
In Math students played a game where they had to cut out pictures and put the pictures in order. They did this in pairs. In Math they also practiced counting and writing numbers 1-10.
In our UOI we talked about black bears and watched a short video. After learning that black bears love to eat berries, students started to work on a bear booklet. The fist page, they used Jell-O to paint “berries”. Everyone had a lot of fun!
To finish off the day students manipulated puzzles and blocks.
And we also ate a delicious Jell-O prepared by Glaucia Padovan (Sarah’s mom). Thank you!
Have a great evening everyone
