Happy Easter!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of Jj, Kk, Ll and Mm.
In our UOI we talked about Easter and decorated an Easter egg and made bunny whiskers.
In Math we played patterning games.
Students went on an Easter Egg hunt with Ms. H. and to finish off the day we had the prize box!

Happy Wednesday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of Xx and Qq.

In Math, students practiced numeracy skills by matching objects to the correct number.
Today students attended French, Gym and Music classes.
To finish off the day students manipulated sorting sets.

Happy Tuesday!

Today we had a fun day!
We began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks. I must say that everyone is doing really well with their healthy snacks! Good job students and parents!
In Language Arts we sang our phonics song and practiced writing letters Ee, Ff, Gg and Hh.
In our Unit of Inquiry we talked about our favorite animals and students drew an animal of their choice.
In Math students were given 3 different sizes of blocks and were instructed to order the blocks by height, then they had to explain how they ordered, which block was the shortest, which one was the tallest.
Today students also finished "The Three Bears" activity, where they had to glue the pictures in the correct category (small, medium and big).
Students attended French and Gym classes. To finish off the day, students had the choice of exploring puzzles or sorting sets.
