Happy Monday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts students met our animal friend of the week Yackety Yak.
After singing our phonics song, students completed a worksheet where they traced upper/lower case "Y" and also circled the pictures that begin with "Y".
Next students completed a worksheet where they practiced reading and writing the word YES. They also practiced reading and writing the following blends: ra, re, ro, ru.
In Math students practiced their numeracy skills by counting objects and circling the correct amount.
Today we had reading groups and students attended Music, Gym and French classes.
We watched this video in class today:
Have a great evening!
And remember...tomorrow you don't have to send a morning snack as we will be making edible cars, using grapes and apples.
