Awesome Thursday!

Today we had a busy and fun day!
Students began the day in the Gym rehearsing for the French Cafe. When they came in class we had our morning circle time and healthy snacks. Students then had Gym class with Mr. Browning. After that they wrote in their agendas and our friends Jaiden Melino and Samaira read a book for us.
In Language Arts we practiced writing and reading the following blends and sight words: mu, wi, we, ve, wi, vest, wet, web, wag, well, win and mud. In Math, students learned about coins today. First, we had a discussion about what students know about money. See the answers bellow. Then we played pretend store, where we had cashiers and shoppers. Everyone had a lot of fun, it was loud, but fun!
In our UOI we watched a video about 30 different types of bird. They all enjoyed watching it. After that we started our bird art for tomorrow's Art class. We are making a peacock using hand print!

"You can get money from the tooth fairy!" - Vishva
"You buy stuff that you need and I have 3 money!" - Jaiden
"You can put money in the pig bank!" - Krina
"You can keep it in your wallet!" - Jayden Klotia
