Rainy Wednesday!

Today we began the day with morning circle and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we sang our phonics song, then students completed a page where they practiced writing and reading the blends pu, fi, je, bu. For sight words they practiced writing and reading fit, jet, pup, bug, pan, pet, pin, pot and pup.
In our Unit of Inquiry into animals, students completed one more page for their bear booklet and today they learned that black bears hide in their caves most of winter time.
In Math, students completed an activity to pratice their numeracy skills. They had pictures of birds for numbers 1-16, students were encouraged to use math counters, after counting they had to write the correct number.
Students attended Gym, French and Music classes.
Students participated in reading groups and to finish off the day they manipulated playdough.
Have a great evening everyone and stay dry :)

Good job Kasen!
