Sunny Monday!

Today we began the day rehearsing in the Gym for the French Cafe.
Students then had snacks and morning circle time.
In Language Arts, students copied the words of the week in their agendas. For worksheets, students completed 2 pages. The first one they practiced reading and writing the following blends/sight words: ba, bo, la, lo, ru, log, lap, leg, lit, bat, bed, big, boss, bus and rug.
In Math we worked together in a class book titled : "Our Big Book of Numbers".
Students were encouraged to find as many ways they can represent each number. Then we cut out pictures of magazines and they had to represent specific numbers (e.g. for number 3: 3 wheels on a tricycle or drawing a birthday cake with 3 candles.
In our UOI we are going to learn about ocean animals this week. We saw some ocean animal pictures and had a fun discussion about what students want to find out this week.
Have a great evening!
