One more sleep!

Ecxatly, one more sleep for Terry Fox Run/Walk. Students are excited about it, as we have been reading and learning about Terry Fox in class. Praying for a great weather tomorrow!
Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts, students made an Alligator, to help them to remember that "Aa" says ă for Alligator.
Next students practiced tracing letters and numbers on dry erase books/cards.
In our Unit of Inquiry we read a book titled: "When I feel Happy". Students then shared what makes them feel happy and here are the answers:
Krina - "My mom's silly face."
Karina - "Playing with my dolls."
Josef - "Playing with my toys."
Vishva - "Playing with blocks."
Hayden - "Playing with my big teddy bear."
Marcus - "Playing with my dinossaurs."
Sarah - "My mom, day and sister."
Bosco - "My mom."
Jayden Klotia - "Playing with my baby brother."
In Math students continue to learn about graphs. Today we made a simple graph, by checking how many boys and girls we have in our classroom.
Students wrote in their journals about their favorite TV show.
Students attended French, Drama and Music classes today.
To finish off the day students had the choice of puzzles, blocks and sorting sets.
Have a great evening everyone!
