Dear Parents,

We had an awesome day, students are now used to the school's routine and everyone seems to be enjoying learning new things each day!
Today we began the day with morning circle time (songs, weather, 100th day, calendar and story time).
Students then had their healthy snacks, again everyone did a great job eating all or most of their fruits!
Next in Language Arts, students were introduced to a new animal friend for the week. Students learned a little bit about elephants today, as they are learning name, sound and formation of "Ee".
We also reviewed sound and formation of "Ii" and "Uu". After singing our phonics song students completed an activity where they had to glue strips of paper on upper case "Ee" and small pieces of paper on lower case "Ee". They all had fun doing that.
In our Unit of Inquiry we talked about friendship and read a book about sharing. After that students completed one more page for our "All About Me" booklet. And today was about their best friend in school. It was really nice to see each one expressing their feelings trough this activity.
In Math we played a game called: "The Mystery Box". Students were encouraged to identify objects by identifying and describing attributes.
Students attended Phys. Ed., Music and French classes today and we read the following books in class: "We Share Everything!" "Ganny Is a Darling" and "What I Do Best!"
To finish off the day students played with stackadoos and puzzles.
Have a great evening!
