Today we began the day with morning circle time, everyone participated really well!
After that students had their healthy snacks and we reviewed name, sound and formation of "Ii" and "Uu".
Students completed a worksheet where they had to trace and write upper and lower case "Uu" and match pictures that go together (e.g. nut+squirrel).
In Math we talked about sorting and played with sorting sets. Students were encouraged to work as a group in each table and come up with different ways of sorting (size, color, type/shape).
After that students "wrote" in their journals and had snacks.
After recess they completed one more page to add in their "All About Me" booklet and we finish off the day with songs and games.
Today we read the following books: "It's Sharing Day!", "Little Quack's New Friend" and "Off to School, Baby Duck!"
Students really enjoy story time, which makes me happy, as I love reading aloud to them.
Have a great evening everyone!
