Dear Parents,

We began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
This week students are learning name sound and formation of "Aa".
Ou animal friend is Alexander Alligator. After singing our phonics song, students completed a worksheet where they had to trace upper/lower case "Aa".
Next, students shared and wrote in the journals about their weekend.
In our Unit of Inquiry we talked about our school and each one's favorite thing to do in school. Most of them said playing with the blocks. Everyone drew a picture of themselves playing in school and we will add that in our "All About Me" booklet.
In Math students continue working on their sorting skills. Today each table had a bin with sorting items and students were encouraged to collect, sort, count and compare information with their classmates.
Students attended French, Gym and Music classes.
To finish off the day we read a nice storybook titled: "When I'm Feeling Loved".
Have a great evening everyone!
