IB Mission Statement

"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Thursday!

We start off the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks. In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of the vowels learnt so far: "Uu" and "Ii". Students practised tracing and writing the two vowels. Next students completed one more page to add in their "All About Me" booklet.
Students attended Phys. Ed. with Mr. Rojas and when they came back in class we read a book titled: "Bullies Never Win".
After lunch we talked about sorting and today we practise sorting with ourselves, e.g. who has black hair or brown hair, who is wearing pants or dress, etc...
Students attended Drama class with Mrs. Henein and when they returned to class they had worksheets to practise writing their names (those who needed). Students who already know how to write their names, drew on little white boards.
After second lunch/recess students attended French class with Mme. H. and to finish off the day students played with sorting sets and we read a book titled: "Dora's Sharing Day!"
Have a great evening everyone!
