We had a great first day of school!
To start off our day I explained to students how the "Special Helper" works. Karina was the special helper today and she did a fantastic job by helping around the classroom!
Next we had our morning circle time, where we sang some songs, checked the weather, dressed up our friend Jhonny, updated our calendar and read a nice storybook titled "The Night Before Preschool". After that students had their healthy snacks.
Next we played a name game and created name tags using foam letters.
Students then attended French class with Ms. H and Gym class with Mr. Rojas.
When students came back in class we read a book tittled "Froggy Goes to School" and students had their lunches.
As part of our Unit of Inquiry today I measured students height and tomorrow I'll weight them.
We then talked about our "Star Chart" and had the choice of playing with puzzles, blocks or playdough.
To finish off the day we read a book tittled "It's the First Day of School".
Have a great evening everyone!
