Happy Wednesday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we sang our phonics song and praticed reading the blends sa, se, si ,so ,su.
Students completed a page where they had to look at the letter at the beginning of each row and circle the pictures that begin with that letter.
In Math students completed a page for "My Number Book" and played games where they practiced their numeracy skills.
In our UOI we talked about excavators, students drew a picture of an excavator.
Students participated in reading groups and completed their journals. Today we talked about one of IB attitudes: appreciation. Students were encouraged to think of ways they can show appreciation at home and complete the sentence..."I show appreciation when...". Elina gave a great example in her journal.
Have a great evening!
