Today we start the day off with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts, we reviewed the following letter sounds: m, t, h, p and l.
Students completed two pages where they had to say the name of each picture and try to hear the beginning sound. They also practiced reading the following blends: ma, me, mi, mo, mu, ha, he, hi, ho, hu.
In Math, students practiced their numeracy skills by matching numbers to objects.
In our Unit of Inquiry we coloured and cut boats to add in our Transportation wall.
Students attended French, Music and Gym classes.
Have a great evening everyone!
IB Mission Statement
"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."
