Happy Thursday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we sang our phonics song and completed 2 worksheets. First one, students were instructed to look at the beginning of each row, say the name of each picture and circle the pictures that end with the consonant sound. Second, was the same thing but students had to circle the pictures which begin with the consonant sound.
In Math students completed two activities, first one they cut pictures, sorted the (transportation) pictures into two groups and classified each group (air and land) and finally they had to glue the pictures in the right box. Our second Math activity was about number awareness, students counted and circled the correct amount.
In our Unit of Inquiry we talked about Fire Trucks, we read a book about it and students drew a picture for our "Alpha Go" wall.
As you can see in the pictures...Jaiden Melino had a lot of fun reading us a "Cat In The Hat" book.
To finish off the day students played with lego and puzzles.
Have a great evening!
