Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks. In Language Arts, students were introduced to our new animal friend of the week: Rusty Rooster.
Students are learning name, sound and formation of "Rr". JKs then completed a worksheet where they practiced writing upper and lower case r and they also had to circle the pictures that begin with r.
In Math we looked at shapes and compared 3D shapes. In our UOI students created hot air balloon out of construction paper and decorated foam airplanes.
Today students attended French and Gym classes. There was no Music class today, instead students enjoyed playing with sorting sets, Mr. Potato Head and dinosaurs.
I have noticed a big improvement on students cutting skills, keep it up everyone!
Have a great evening everyone!
