Happy Monday!

Today we began the day with our morning routine and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts, students were introduced to our new animal friend: Mickey Monkey. Students also learned name, sound and formation of “Mm”. Next, they completed a worksheet where they had to trace and write upper and lower case “Mm”, they also had to identify and circle the pictures that began with “Mm”.
In Math, students practiced counting backwards 10-1 and we completed one more page for our numeral book.
In our UOI we read “The Three Billy Goats” and had a very interesting discussion about the book. Students drew their favourite part of the story in their journals.
At the end of the day we opened our pumpkin together and each student predicted how many seeds we were going to find inside the pumpkin. We made a graph and most of the class got it right. We counted 10 by 10s and the total was 210.
