Today we began the day with our morning routine and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts, students met our new animal friend of the week: Seabreeze Seal. Our letter is "Ss" for this week. We practiced our phonics song and made a list of words that begin with S sound. Students then traced upper and lower case "Ss". We also practiced sound out the blends su, si, sa.
In Math, students completed a a couple of worksheets for number 15. We talked about what comes before and after 15 and we used counters to count to 15.
In our UOI we read the book "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle. Students then started their own Brown Bear booklet. We will be working on the booklet tomorrow as well.
Today we also practiced our songs and students attended French, Music and Gym classes.
Have a great evening everyone!
