IB Mission Statement

"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Dear Parents,

We had a great day today!
We began the day with our usual morning routine.
In Language Arts students completed a worksheet where they traced and wrote upper and lower case "Aa". They also had to circle the pictures that they could hear the short sound of "Aa".
In Art class we used crayon resist technique to make Gingerbread Man. Take a look in our class.
Today we had reading buddies with Gr. 5-6. Students attended Gym and French classes. To finish off the day JKs were encouraged to make letters by using play dough.
Have a great weekend!

Braydon and his reading buddy!
