Today we began the day with morning circle time (weather, 100th Day Tree, story, songs, calendar) and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts students were introduced to our new animal friend "Homer Horse". Students then completed 2 worksheets where they traced upper and lower case "Hh".
In Math, students worked in groups, everyone was encourage to estimate and count sets with more, fewer or the same number of objects.
In our UOI we started to work in our Summative Assessment. In our summative assessment for this unit students will choose their favourite story book and be able to retell and draw the story in proper sequence.
This activity will allow students to use their comprehension skills.
Students attended French, Music and Gym classes today.
To finish the day off we practised "Just Imagine" song and Christmas Concert song.
