IB Mission Statement

"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Friday!!!

Today we had a very good day!
We began the day with a house game in the Gym and IB awards. For the month of October teachers were looking for risk-takers. In our class Sarah received the award for being a risk-taker. She is always willing to try new things, especially in house games :)
When students came in class we had our morning circle time and healthy snacks. Krina was the Special Helper today and she was very excited about it!
In Language Arts we sang our phonics song and reviewed name, sound and formation for "Mm". Students then completed a worksheet where they practised writing upper and lower case "Mm".
In Art class students made poppies for Remembrance Day.
For Math, students practised 1:1 correspondence and sorting.
To finish our day we rehearsed our song for the Christmas Concert.
Have a great weekend everyone!
