"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.

Happy Wednesday!

We had a fun day today!
We start off the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we practiced our phonics song and students completed a worksheet where they had to look at the letter at the beginning of each row and circle the pictures which began with the consonant sound.
After that students practiced sounding out the following blends: bu/bo/bi/be/ba
In math students completed a worksheet where they had to count and circle the correct number of objects.
In our Unit of Inquiry, students retold The Three Little Pigs story and we made the three houses out of construction paper, straws and lots of glue. Tomorrow it will be ready for parents to check it out.
Students attended Music, Gym and French classes today.
Important reminders:
 - Halloween Festival tickets are on sale for $2.50 ea. The event will take place next Wed., Oct. 31 from 2:30-4pm. Parents are welcome to join us. Students may dress up on that day.
Have a great evening!
