Bonjour!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we reviewed the vowel sounds and students completed a worksheet where they had look at the pictures in each row and circle the pictures that they could hear the short sound of the vowel.
Next, we practiced the following blends: na,ne,ni,no,nu.
In our Unit of Inquiry we read the Three Little Pigs story book. Again, students participated very well and we came up with the following conclusion: "hard work pays off".
In Math students practiced counting 1-8 and writing number 8.
Today JKs had Gym class with me, Mr. Rojas is sick.
Students attended Drama and French classes.
The Halloween cookies were sold out yesterday. Next week students from Gr.7-8 will have more.

Pictures of the day...Sarah, Marcus, Jaiden and Krina improving their penmanship skills!
