What a nice weather today!
We began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts students were introduced to our new animal friend Betsy Bee!
We learned a little bit about Bees and sang our phonics song.
Before completing the worksheets, students were encouraged to make Bs using playdough, they had so much fun doing that!
Students then traced upper/lower "Bb". In our second worksheet students wrote upper and lower case "Bb" and were encouraged to circle the pictures that began with "Bb". Everyone did a great job!
In Math, we continue in our Number Sense unit and today JKs counted to 5 and represented numbers 1-5 in different ways. We went on a number walk around the school looking for numbers. Students also played a matching number game in class. Take a look in the pictures.
Students attended Gym, French and Music classes.
To finish off the day, students had the choice of manipulating puzzles and sorting sets.
Have a great evening and enjoy this beautiful weather!
