Dear Parents,

Today was a fun day!
We began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Langauge Arts we reviewd name, sound and formation of "Tt", "Ee", "Aa" and "Oo".
Students then completed 2 worksheets. First one they were asked to trace and write upper and lower case "Tt", "Ee", "Aa" and "Oo". Second worksheet students were encouraged to look at the letter at the beginning of each row. Say the name of each picture and circle the pictures in which they could hear the short sound of the vowel. Today students practiced the following blends: la/le/lo/lu/li.
In Math students prracticed writing number 6.
In our Unit of Inquiry we talked about our favorurite season. Students then completed a page where they had to chose their favourite season, circle the clothes that they would wear in that season and draw something they like to do in that season.
Picture of the day...Samaira working hard on her number 6!
