Happy Tuesday!

JKs worked really hard today!
In Language Arts we reviewed long vowel sounds and students practiced reading and writing the following sight words: gate, cane, bee, leaf, pie, kite, nose, rose, tube, bug, pin, wag, lick, jet, rot, seal, hug, fan, gas, doll, ten, bell, hill, hat and lock.
In Math we continued with our number booklet, where students are learning to represent a number in  different ways.
In our UOI we learned a little bit about ladybugs, students were surprised that ladybugs eat about 5000 bugs in their lifetime. We also talked about life cycle and watched this video: http://youtu.be/3pOsKcs78C4
Students learned that insects go from the egg, to the larva, to the pupa, to the adult.
Have a great evening everyone!

Reminders:
Students must come to school dressed up in their French Cafe costume this Friday. Thank you!
