IB Mission Statement

"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Wednesday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In our Language Arts we reviewed sound and formation of "Vv". Then, we had a brainstorm of words that begin with v. Next, students completed a worksheet where they traced and wrote upper/lower case "Vv".
In our UOI we talked and watched a short video about helicopters. Students then were encouraged to draw their own helicopter. Take a look at Hayden's drawing. It is nice to see students adding more details to their drawings.

Students attended Gym, French and Music classes.
They also participated in reading groups and wrote in their journals.
Have a great evening everyone!
