Today students were a bit tired but we accomplished a lot!
We began the day with our morning circle time and healthy snacks. In Language Arts we reviewed sound and formation of the following letters v, r, f, j. Students completed a worksheet where they traced and wrote these letters.
In our Math Makes Sense unit on Patterning, students focused on recognising and extending patterns.
Students worked in groups in order to create patterns, after they were done, each group had to describe their pattern. Everyone collaborated really well for this activity.
In our UOI we will be focusing on road safety this week. Today we talked about rules and why is it important to have and follow rules. We also talked about traffic lights and students were instructed to color a traffic light.
Students attended Music, Gym and French classes. They also wrote in their journals (see pictures:).
To finish off the day we read stories and played our airplane game.
Have a great evening everyone!
