Dear Parents,

Today we had a busy day!
We began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we learned a little bit about our animal friend of the week Kathy Kangaroo. Students are learning sound, name and formation of "Kk".
After completing a page to practice formation of "Kk", students completed a worksheet where they had to circle the pictures that end with the following consonants: p, k, l, s.
Students then practiced reading the blends: yo, ye, yi, yu, ya.
In Math we started a new Unit on Patterning. Today we started the unit with a discussion on what we know about patterns. After collecting all the answers we came up with a conclusion: Pattern is something that repeats over and over again!
Students drew in their journals what they think when they hear the word pattern.
In our UOI we talked about Go-Karts and watched a short video about Go-Karts. Students then drew their own Go-Karts.
Today students attended Music, French and Gym classes.
Please, remember to practice the poem with your child. Thank you for your help!

Have a great evening!
