Happy Thursday!
Today in our morning circle time we made a welcome back poster for Mrs. Padovan. The boys and girls traced their hands, drew pictures, and placed stickers on the poster.
For language we reviewed the name, sound and formation of 'n', 'm', 't', and 's'. Then they did worksheets where they practiced tracing the letters and colouring pictures that started with those letters.
In Math we reviewed the number '5' and learned how to write the numbers 6-10.
For their UOI they made Christmas trees which again they will be taking home tonight.
In their journals they drew what their favourite season is.
IB Mission Statement
"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."
