Happy Wednesday!

Cold day today!
In the morning during our "Sharing Time" we talked about being thankful for having a nice and warm classroom.
After our morning routine we had our healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of "Cc" and we made Connie Cows out of paper plate and construction paper. Students practiced their fine motor skills by cutting the construction paper to make the black spots and ears. They also practiced their listening skills by following instructions for this activity, as I explained only once and they were supposed to complete by themselves. Everyone did a good job!
In Math we tried something a little more challenging today. Students completed a worksheet where they counted and drew a line to the correct numbers (10-15). Some students could do it, but majority needed assistance.
In our UOI we read a book about Winter and had a discussion about our favourite activities to do during the cold months. Students then completed their journals on that same topic.
Students attended French, Gym and Music classes. We also practiced our Christmas song and to finish off the day, students had the choice of playing with wood blocks, stackadoos or lego.
Have a great evening everyone!

I got this nice drawing from Karina today. I guess she is getting ready for Christmas!
