In the morning we had our circle time and healthy snacks.
Next we practiced for Arts Night, everyone did a really good job!
Students then helped to organize their IB binders. The IB binder will remain at the school throughout the students time at St. Jude's. Teachers from each grade will add their work into four tabs: "My best work", "Something I work my hardest on it", "A way I showed a learner profile" and "Something I have to improve on".
In the afternoon students worked on numeracy skills by counting and writing the correct number.
They also attended Gym and French classes.
I'll see you this evening!
IB Mission Statement
"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."
